B4 Graphics Extension Kit
This extension kit adds graphics output capabilities to the B4 Computer Processor. The Dot Matrix Display Module can output ASCII-style characters and symbols on a 4 by 5 LED matrix. In addition, students can program 16 of the LEDs separately and thus design their own graphics.
By combining graphics with memory, students program text output, pixel graphics, computer animations and produce mathematical artwork.
Study Guide
The B4 Graphics Extension Kit is accompanied by a comprehensive course to guide teachers and students. Through a series of five lessons, students experiment and learn about producing graphics, automating output, characters and words, pixels and maths artwork, and animations. The study guide also covers algorithmic representation through pseudocode.
